Specs:
Shrub; semideciduous;
resembles bamboo w/ canelike stems and delicate foliage; slow to
moderate growth to 7’ tall, easily pruned; new foliage pinkish, then
light green turning fiery crimson in fall; small pink/white flowers
give way to red berries; handles full sun, but prefers some shade;
needs rich soil w/ ample water; deer proof; ‘Nana Compacta’
variety only 18” tall, same green lacy foliage, spectacular red in the
fall. |
